REPD Club

Our why

Built by athletes. For what's next.

It started in a start pen

Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The entry fee for a hybrid race is nine thousand rupees. Then the travel. Then the shoes. Then three months at a gym. By race morning our founder had spent more than a lot of people in his city earn in a month — for permission to run.

He stood in the start pen on a cold morning, bibs pinned all around him, photographers already working the barrier. Every single person in that pen had paid their own way to be there. And there was a banner over the finish line with a company's name on it.

A few weeks earlier a Frenchman had auctioned fifteen spots on his own body for one race and taken ninety-four lakh rupees in fifty-eight hours. Our founder saw it and did what anybody would do. He tried it. He had a few hundred followers. He made nothing.

That failure was the useful part, because it forced the right question — and then the realisation that he had been looking at the wrong body. He had been looking at his own.

There were hundreds of people around him that morning. Thousands will race this season. Every one of them paid to be there, and every one runs in front of exactly the audience a small brand burns its entire budget trying to find. The attention was never missing. It was pointed at the finish line, where the money already was, instead of at the start line, where nobody was looking.

Athletes represent more than themselves

  • the work
  • their community
  • the brands they believe in
  • their city
  • their team
  • their family
  • what they are trying to become

REPD exists to make that representation worth something — to the athlete carrying it, and to the brand being carried.

Every rep represents.

What we hold to

01
Athletes first
When a decision is close, it goes the athlete's way. They are the ones with something on the line.
02
Fair and transparent
You see the split, the brand and the terms before you agree to anything. No number is hidden from the person carrying it.
03
Community driven
Built out of a start pen in Haldwani, with the people standing in it.
04
Built in India
Indian races, Indian brands, Indian athletes. Not a template borrowed from somewhere colder.
